We are pleased to be opening our doors once more for the Chichester Art Trail! Both Shirley and Holly will be exhibiting their latest work in the Handprinted Studio. The exhibition will feature relief prints, screen prints, etchings, indigo dyeing and batiks! There will be framed and unframed works as well as homewares and bags to view and for sale.  Read more

Handprinted started in 2003. I (Shirley) was teaching printing and dyeing techniques in an Adult Ed College in South West London and to make a little extra money I sold items I had printed and dyed at craft fairs. Alongside my more personal pieces I printed some simple items using customer's children's hand and foot prints - the most popular items by far. Read more

I was lucky enough to attend a Japanese Woodblock Course with Laura Boswell a couple of weekends ago. She is an amazing tutor who I hope will teach a weekend course for us in the near future. Laura's work can be seen on her site here or if you are in the Bedforshire area she is exhibition at the Golden Hare Gallery for the whole of November '15 - definitely worth a visit if you can make it.   Read more
