Learn to use screen printing inks to paint designs onto an open screen. Using a variety of brushes we will explore mark-making and screen print our designs onto paper. You will also be able to explore the use of paper masks to block out areas of your design. This technique creates beautifully painterly screen prints.
These classes are social, relaxed sessions aimed at all abilities. We will learn a wide variety of techniques from relief printing, screen printing, intaglio printing, dyeing and batik. Most sessions are single mornings but occasionally the technique will require two sessions so this will require both to be booked - the choice is yours!
Inks and paper are provided. Suitable for all - experienced or not.
